The Cyber Essentials scheme has been developed by Government and industry to fulfil two functions. It provides a clear statement of the basic controls all organisations should implement to mitigate the risk from common internet based threats. Recently Anchor was awarded a £5K grant that will be used to implement various new processes and procedures that will help to protect the company and its customers against online threats. Once these processes have been audited Anchor is hoping to secure a Cyber Essentials award which will further enhance the accreditations and compliance certificates that we already hold. Anchor have been supported through this process by the Hampshire based Cyber Security Experts, ThinkMarble.
